I dread to think how long it’s going to be before we get series three. This is one of those times when I hate British shows being so short, and taking so long between series.
At least in the meantime, there’s fanfic!
So…I’m rewatching Ashes To Ashes series three and it’s amazing to see how the clues to what Gene’s World was all about are peppered through every episode. So much more fun on a rewatch. But then, of course, there are scenes like this which will be like a punch to the gut every time. I usually find Danny Boy cheesy but when Ray starts singing only to forget the words and then Shaz comes and joins him I tear up. This scene, people. It gives me ~feelings!!!

Please watch this film. It’s so poignant, and it’s beautifully done. I was in tears by the end.
